It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we have to announce the passing of our beloved friend and supporter, Denise Wheeler.

Denise and her husband Larry are deeply committed to supporting our shelter all the way from Las Vegas, Nevada and also adopted their beloved pets Ginger and Bella from us.

She was a true embodiment of love and had a deep passion for all animals. Her generosity changed the lives of many animals in need. 

Denise enjoyed supporting us, ensuring the shelter was well-supplied by arranging for monthly deliveries and generously paying off our vet bills every holiday season. The supply shed, affectionately called the "Wheeler Shed," was named in her honor because she always kept it fully stocked. To continue her legacy, a memory bench will be placed in front of our facility, providing a lasting tribute to her compassion and care for animals.

Her passing is a huge loss. We will be forever grateful for her kindness, big heart, and dedication. Denise's memory will live on forever in our hearts and the animals we continue to serve in honor of her.
